Mark Helenowski is a James Beard-nominated filmmaker based in Brooklyn + Chicago.

His first feature film, For Grace was acquired by Netflix on a global exclusive streaming deal after World Premiering at South By Southwest. The film screened at dozens of renowned film festivals across the world (International Premiere: Hot Docs in Toronto, Best of Fest), won multiple awards (including Best Film, Best Documentary, Best Directing) and was hailed as "captivating" by Variety and "powerful" by the Telegraph (UK).

Mark is currently serving as the inaugural Documentary Filmmaker in Residence at Mother Jones, the San Francisco-based magazine which won the prestigious 'Magazine of the Year' award from the American Society of Magazine Editors in 2017.

He has spoken on film panels from Auckland to Austin (including SXSW) and has created commercial content for Gatorade, Nike, Virgin, and more.
